The 65th Scenery Photographs Gold Prize Winner "Sortie"

Pachi Contest is a photogragh contest for Military Modelers all over the world. The winning photos will be published in full color in the Photo Album "Pachi", letting the whole world appreciate these splendid works of art.

This category is for photographs taken of Tamiya models as if they appeared in a real battlefield or operations scene. Items from the 1/35 and 1/48 Military Miniatures Series, World Figure Series, and other Tamiya scale model series are acceptable.		This category is for photographs of vehicles or figures modeled and painted as a main subject. Feel free to model the kits as suggested or customize them as you like. You may also photograph your item set on a diorama base.

*Overseas contestants will receive Tamiya merchandise equivalent to the Japanese Yen amount. A Junior prize is awarded to kids 15 and under. (Gold, Silver, Bronze or Runner Up prize winners are not eligible for the Junior prize.) A Special Prize is awarded to works expressing great uniqueness or extraordinary effort. Bonus prizes will be awarded to the Scenery Category entrant whose photograph is selected for the front cover of Photo Album "Pachi". Contestants whose works are published in the Photo Album "Pachi" will be sent a free copy of the album.

Details of Entry

Condition of Entry The main subject of your work must be an item from the 1/35 Military Miniatures Series, 1/48 MM Series or 1/16 World Figure Series.In the Scenery Category, any Tamiya models or items from other companies may be used as accessories with MM or World Figure Series modelsDo not use an item from a company other than Tamiya as the main subject of your work.

Photograph type Photographs may be color or black and white. All photographs must be 5x7 inches (127mm x 177mm) in size. Photos taken with a digital camera are also acceptable. Please send 5x7 inch (127mm x 177mm) sized print outs. Using image enhancement functions which alter the photo as a whole is permitted (ie. brightness, contrast). However, using functions which alter only parts of the image are not permitted.

How to Enter Please attach one entry card to the back of each picture submitted. Make sure to write the name of your piece of work and the name of the main vehicle or figure used. Feel free to send additional photos of your work as it looked in the various stages of construction. Entry is limited to works which have not been submitted to other contests. Please include a cardboard backing when sending your photograph to keep it from bending during postage. Please note that submitted photographs will not be returned.
